Frequently asked questions

Everything about adding watermarks with PixKit.

How do I add a watermark to an image?+
Drop your image in, open the Watermark tool, type your text, set the opacity, size and position, then click Apply. Download the result when you’re happy with it.
Can I tile the watermark across the whole image?+
Yes. Choose the Tiled option and your text repeats diagonally across the entire image, making it much harder to crop out.
Is the watermark tool free?+
Completely free — no account, no usage limits, and no tool branding added to your image.
Are my images uploaded to a server?+
No. Watermarking runs 100% locally in your browser, so your images never leave your device and the tool works offline.
Will the watermark stay readable on light and dark photos?+
Yes. The text uses a translucent white fill with a subtle dark shadow, which keeps it legible over both bright and dark areas.

Free online image watermarking

PixKit adds a text watermark to your images entirely in your browser. Type your text, choose the opacity and font size, and place it in any of nine positions — or switch to tiled mode to repeat it diagonally across the whole picture so it can’t be cropped out. The watermark is drawn with a translucent white fill and a subtle dark shadow so it stays legible on both light and dark backgrounds.

Built for control

A relative font size means your watermark scales correctly whether the image is a tiny thumbnail or a full-resolution export. Opacity runs from a faint 10% hint up to a bold 100% stamp, and the 3×3 position grid lets you tuck it into a corner or center it dead-on.

Private and unlimited

Your images are never uploaded — the watermarking runs 100% locally and keeps working offline. There are no accounts, no usage limits, and no watermark-of-the-tool added to your output. Apply, undo, and re-apply as many times as you like.
